I ran four days of workshops at The Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield last month, in which families were able to drop in and learn how to create a Concertina Bound Book as part fo a series of Big Draw events.
The books were then taken away and filled with drawings by each family, and brought back to be exhibited as part of the Big Draw exhibition.Look out for the exhibition of books over this month, in the education room at The Hepworth Wakefield.
Families work together to create their own sketchbooks.
Handouts and projections provided instructions on how to create the books step by step.
Children and adults really enjoyed decorating their books with cut out shapes.
